If you’re still catching up with the news, YOU MIGHT HAVE MISSED that Trump launched a massive airstrike on three of Iran’s biggest nuclear facilities—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. The Pentagon named it “Operation Midnight Hammer,” which sounds less like a military mission and more like a discontinued Monster Energy drink, but I digress.
Trump assured the world on Live TV last night at 10 PM that, “We’re not at war with Iran, we're at war with Iran's nuclear program,” which is kind of like saying, “I didn’t hit you, I just gently disassembled your ribcage.”
I’m not a foreign policy expert (lol), but I do know this: the Iranian regime is a brutal, theocratic death cult with nuclear ambitions. And while I’m deeply unsettled by Trump’s decision-making process, I’m also not about to pretend Fordow was some utopian yoga retreat in the mountains.
